You must be hearing me bang my head against the wall all the way over in Europe. Neoliberalism is destroying the world, but it's doing an especially destructive job in the US. Covid exposed the fragile infrastructure holding the US together and STILL people accept this "kick me while I'm down" because being American is all about living a nightmare.

I don't understand the ignorance or stubborn attitude towards a decent living standard, and is one of the stupid parties going to actually do something for someone other than the corporate owners? I have been expecting (more) civil unrest as people are evicted, hungry, and desperate, but maybe I need to accept Americans have accepted being treated like shit is wonderful.
