You captured our current environment perfectly. We seem to fall into three categories; True Believers, Skeptics, and Theorists. True Believers do not challenge the narrative and defend it wholeheartedly. Skeptics know something isn't quite right so they question the information. Theorists do not believe anything authorities say yet trust someone on the fringe.

Withholding the truth created fractions in society because people base their identity on their beliefs. Conversations have become somewhat uneventful because there's not much discourse. We've aligned ourselves with a narrative and no one but our chosen truth-tellers are trustworthy.
