When/if the war ends, Ukrainians who survived the violence will endure crippling neoliberalism and austerity to repay the IMF loans. Westerners will have forgotten about Ukraine by then because they'll be cheering for some other conflict that'll lead to the same dire outcome.

After all, what is the US economy without wars?
