Yes, the same companies that plundered Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and Iraq brought energy to Europe out of the kindness of their hearts and the 300% to 400% rise in profits.
Europeans worry more about their unaffordable energy bills more than the war, burning them in front of government buildings. European leaders pleaded with Biden to introduce a price cap and explicitly stated the US is price gouging, but corporate profits always come first in the US.
Most of Europe has never had the same attitude toward the USSR and Russia as the US, and European manufacturing that relies heavily on energy file for bankruptcy.
Our "allies" aren't happy, but they don't have a choice. They rely on the US for energy and NATO occupies their countries. I've participated in the anti-NATO/US protests in European cities and experienced the distrust toward the US, and the icing on the cake is the Inflation Act. You should be able to find out what Europeans think about this because Europe has publicly scrutinized the US.
Meanwhile, US oil and gas frack the hell out of the country, but at least they're delivering overpriced energy to Europe.
