Yes, Putin is wrong, but there can be more than two wrongs, and there doesn't have to be a good guy. The narrative Putin wants to restore the Soviet era, might be Western propaganda, and we seem to forget propaganda comes from every party. Right now, propaganda is running wild. I don't know how people forgot about the Red Scare, but it never stopped. All of our governments use propaganda, and the US overturned restrictions during Obama's presidency to make it legal.

Also, Putin clearly announced his hatred for Lenin. Russia has no intentions of returning to the USSR era. This is a capitalist war, and our governments defend the capitalists. It's amazing how many wars the US has been in for oil and gas, and just like that, Russia invades Ukraine, and oil and gas companies post profits for the first time since before Covid.
