The marketing flyers have got to have the same odds as cat-callers. The strategy must entice at least .001% of the population, or they'd eventually change tactics - right? Maybe, I am too logical.
I'm losing faith, but I still hope we'll figure out that materialism is empty emotions and that happiness is connections/intimacy with fleshy humans.
The best gift would be a mass protest to demand federally mandated labor rights like paid sick and vacation leave, but hey, maybe another pair of argyle socks would make us happier.
