Wow. We are on the same page. In my twenties, I roamed around the world by myself, and the experience taught me the world is very far from black and white. People are innately good, but we need an environment that fosters decency.

When I was in Argentina, I learned about the US' role in the dirty war from a friend I made while living there and asked her why she doesn't hate me. She replied, "you're not your government." The ability to see people for who they are is the most beautiful experience.

We need to commit and maintain peace. xo
