I left ten years ago and was fortunate to find a job in Australia that offered me a working visa and I eventually became a citizen. I am so thankful I left, if you can get out, go!

New Zealand is often looking for skilled labor and no matter where you are, you're only a flight from home. You can always go back to the US.
