Why is Russia at Ukraine's border? There's a lot of history and information the media isn't reporting. Putin doesn't want NATO and nukes in every Eastern European country, and NATO broke the agreements it has made with Russia.
Ukraine is the US and Russia's pawn. Do you think Ukrainians want either country intervening in their affairs? Russia and the US have been involved in Ukraine's elections for the last decade, and the US keeps provoking the situation. Meanwhile, Ukrainians don't get a say in any of this.
There is way too much to explain in a comment, but here's a brief and link:
- In 2013 or so, EU offers Ukraine a financially disadvantaged invite to the EU, but Ukraine declines
-US diplomats fund and support right-wing fascists to help overthrow Ukraine's leader and impose an EU/US friendly politician (AKA willing to impoverish Ukrainians for a shit deal)
-Russia retaliates by claiming Crimea, but Crimea is mostly ethnic Russians who considered themselves apart of Russia.
-Interventions by Russia, US, and EU continue in Ukraine
If NATO withdraws its demand to enter Ukraine, Putin agreed to back off, but NATO won't backdown. It's absurd.
