While the exploited masses get angry and guillotine the rich, then each other, a few might survive by simply being simple.

I'm tired of worrying incessantly about making enough money to pay to exist and retire before I die. An email-sending job (office worker) is pointless, soul-sucking, and higher paying than fulfilling jobs, but there isn't enough money in the world that could tempt me to sit at a desk and send emails for 40 hours a week.

We are appalled and enraged when protesters destroy infrastructure, cars, and private property, but we don't give one shit about the daily destruction of our habitat.

The alternative is the simple life. We don't need a mountain of crap and forced, degrading work to survive, and we're barely surviving. We need an attachment to the environment, community, and ourselves, but we're so detached that we scoff at the simple solution, stating live "In the real world".

The most essential components of life have become foreign and delusional constructs because we forget we are nature, not beyond it. The saddest species on earth.
