When super powers fight, it's no different to toddlers.

Russia doesn't have leverage without the pipelines, and I don't think Putin cares if Europe blames him for their cold winter, but who knows. We can only speculate until or if evidence appears, but it's not unbelievable that the US would destroy the pipelines.

Now, Europe is dependent on US gas, and we're going to frack the shit out of everything to supply it. Things are looking up...
