Western Europe and the US attacked the USSR after the revolution in 1917, and Churchill delayed entering WWII because he was more afraid of communism than the Nazis.

The West has always feared communism and meddled in Eastern European and global politics to combat working-class revolts. People tend to forget about or are unaware of Western provocations, which influenced the USSR.

Peace with Russia was achievable, especially when it asked to join NATO, but the US sabotaged every Russian and European attempt to unite. We can't have a large, resource-rich nation that won't yield to the empire's demands influencing Europe!

There isn't a force to beat Russia because the US can't do it alone and has no committed alliance willing to send their populace to war, including the brewing conflict with China.
