We live in capitalistic culture; creating value via productivity is more important than anything else. Time is money, and our time is owned. We're commodities, and we're treated like objects. Our culture teaches us to continuously pursue wealth because that's what makes us happy. Why sleep when we could be working endlessly towards happiness!!!?

Well, we're animals not robots, and too much wealth makes us paranoid while not enough makes us anxious. We're exhausted from the constant pressure to be productive and the dehumanization of the workforce, and wealth can't buy us happiness. If only we could replace wealth with health. Ugh. We're so backwards.
