We don't know how to build community because it didn't require work and effort until recently. We created a civilization that separates us from the environment, each other, and our natural selves.

There is no hope in this meaningless structure, and we can't envision life another way, but we know community is essential. Unfortunately, authentic connections in an inauthentic, competitive society that values artificial constructs dilute genuine relationships.

Domestication killed our greatest skill.
