True, we're spitting carbon dioxide and logging everything we can get our hands on faster than you can say whoops.
I was in Australia during the 2019-2020 bushfires, and the average annual temperature was 1.5C warmer. The entire East and South coast nearly burned down, and people ran to the ocean to escape, but it was only a short-term solution.
Migrating between fires and floods will be the norm, and the only items we'll own are the ones we can carry, and this future isn't too far off. Yet, we do nothing, not even prepare. Ugh.
