This is what pisses me off the most. Our government was in contact with Russia and knew it would invade, yet goes silent the moment Ukraine is attacked! WTF. The gov also stated prior to the invasion, it would unleash sanctions - insinuating, it won't retaliate violently. I'm against escalating conflicts, but none of this seems like an attemp to save lives. ARGH
