I imagine the pre-occupied landscape everywhere I go. I cried while looking at the sprawl of concrete from the World Trade Towers, and the overwhelming sadness struck again in a skyscraper in Tokyo. People consider these vast annihilations of nature as human innovation, but all I see is death and destruction.
The boomers "didn't start the fire" but kept it lit, and every generation since has added fuel to the blaze. Sadly, my generation and younger never experienced life's excitement and possibilities like the boomers. There has never been a future to look forward to or the present to enjoy, but this is not the boomer's fault. ❤️
