We are society, and we’re coming for you
The greatest lesson we will learn from Covid’s attack on our civilization and economic systems is the connectedness and disconnectedness of society. Humanity has had its setbacks, yet our natural human instinct is uniting in solidarity, fighting oppressive powers, eliminating injustices, and choosing peace. The divisions created to strip us of our collective power is an assault led by an influential minority in fear of our capabilities. They will continue to challenge us because these humans maintain their happiness in power, wealth, and an elitist society void of the everyday delights we cherish. They don’t need society nor want it, but we do. We must fight as hard as they do or the small remains of the goodness will vaporize within the mass pollution of their industrialized global developments.
Unlearn the last fifty to sixty years to see how we got here. We didn’t choose to dismantle the unions protecting us from unfair working conditions, dangerous environments, wage stagnation, and collective power. It was decided for us by those who fear the strength of our unanimity because they are few and we are many. It may have seemed convoluted in determining the winners of this tragedy because they’ve mastered presenting unwanted gifts in beautiful packaging, but it wasn’t me or you who won.
