There are too many unqualified, spoilt, rich kids appointed to powerful positions within the US government. They're bullies who often networked with elites to obtain their high-level roles, and they've never listened to anyone, hence the recklessness.

Voices of reason leak classified documents because there are no logical decision-makers who listen. At least that's my assumption.
