There are people (not enough) speaking out against AI, but they're difficult to find. The podcast This Machine Kills covers the tech we should be paying attention to, but like the Patriot Act, we don't worry about it because it won't impact us. LOL

Surveillance is watching everyone, and privacy doesn't exist. Police accessed private emails and text messages to detain BLM activists, but there's nothing to worry about. Our government captures that data for no reason whatsoever.

The Mint Press has a decent section on tech and AI. Here's a link to their surveillance articles: https://www.mintpressnews.com/page/2/?s=surveillance

I wrote about the gov and military's cyber operations, and Newsweek exposed the Pentagon's spy program, but I'm sure, AI will be different (hopefully, you can click the underlined text if you want to read them).

PS I sold all my shit and traveled around the world instead of reading the book of life and following the rules. Friends incessantly insisted I should focus on a career, get married, and have kids like them, or I'd miss out. They have nice things, but I'm with you. I'd be miserable if I followed the rules of life.

We need the social with the science to call it economics.
