The virus is super contagious. I didn’t say it goes nowhere. I’m saying it’s quickly contained. We have outbreaks from Australians returning from overseas, but there isn’t community transmission in Melbourne. I live here. It’s true. I went to a concert the other night without a mask on. It was wild.

It’s seriously incredible. Every case is traced back to its original source and everyone who’s been in contact or in the vicinity of an infected person quarantines and gets tested. We even know what strain it is. The state governments have been exceptional, but of course, mistakes have been made.

We had a horrific outbreak in July and a lot of people died, and I know plenty of people who have had Covid, but there hasn’t been community transmission because of the steps taking to contain it. https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/victorian-coronavirus-covid-19-data

I think it’s great to be passionate and there’s nothing to prove here. I’m not an expert in the field of airborne viruses, but I know where to get the information I need. I’ll wait for the virologists and scientists to provide their explanations.
