The US Empire intends to maintain unipolarity, and the US emperors believe Russia and China want that role because they refuse to adhere to the US-rules-based order. Russia and China continuously vetoed the UN Security Council decisions on US interventions in Africa and the Middle East, but the US does what it wants.

Russia obeyed international laws unless NATO got too close, and China seems to always obey them. So, the US and its allies pushed all the right buttons to provoke Russia and sent multimillionaire Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan to instigate China, killing any chance at a global climate change effort.

Our government has priorities and climate change mitigation isn't one of them - or peace. They don't generate profits.

We can't comprehend the size and power of the US Empire, yet it's the largest, deadliest, and most repressive empire to have ever existed. We might understand foreign and domestic policy if we understood what the US is.
