The US can't take anyone to the world court because we don't recognize it, and when the ICC pursued the US, we sanctioned ICC officials.

The ICC will charge Russia, but there is no justice. War is evil and reparations don't revive the dead.

It doesn't matter what you believe because your belief doesn't change the fact that there were numerous discussions between Russia and the US for at least a decade before the invasion. There's no argument because it isn't an opinion.

However, we can argue that Russia's demands weren't reasonable and war was necessary, or both parties should have found a resolution that avoided war. I strongly believe war should have been avoided because if NATO's objective is to defend nations, its first duty is to maintain peace by avoiding deadly conflcts, but NATO did not attempt to negotiate a peace settlement.

Does this justify Russia's murders in Ukraine- no, but the US and NATO should have exhausted every avenue to avoid it.
