The thing is, Americans have been fed anti-USSR and Russian propaganda since the end of WWII. Most people don't know anything about US foreign policy, yet vehemently support the most deadly empire to have ever existed.

Biden still considers Juan Guaidó the rightful leader of Venezuela, yet the dude never even ran for president. After living in South America, Western propaganda became so blatantly obvious that I can't believe I never noticed, but it's also that good at controlling the masses.

The media tells us how to feel, not how to think, and we verbatim retort the news feed without thinking about it. Plus, Americans know absolutely nothing about the world.

When working overseas, the most common question people ask me is why are Americans so dumb. We aren't dumb, but the media, movies, TV programs, politicians, and commonly held cultural beliefs shape our thoughts.

Our government couldn't gain support for imperialism if we understood our national objectives. The emotional backlash and attacks on anyone who presents an alternative narrative is conditioned behavior.

We criticize authoritarian governments, yet we shun, censor, silence, and belittle anyone who says anything negative about US foreign policy.

Our government treats Americans like shit, yet we're supposed to believe it cares about the well-being of foreign nations - sure.
