The PPP loans given to the banks to loan to small businesses so they could provide their payroll with wages while shutdown during Covid was an absolute slap to the face. The loans became grants for the small businesses that followed the PPP guidelines yet the banks made interest and fees for distributing it. The government made sure the banks were taken care of whilst Americans were the last on the list. It's beyond disgusting.
