The only sane and logical essay I've read this week. Americans from all political sides are fascists who have been taught to silence anyone stating US foreign policy facts. Our selective memory disregards history and prohibits thinking. We refuse to acknowledge our impact on the world and the consequences.

It's baffling we still believe the US defends democracy when every war since WWII was for capitalism. For f*cks sake, NATO is an aggressive organization that secures US economic hegemony through military force. Hasn't anyone wondered why we established NATO to contain our ally and not Germany after WWII? We don't care about peace; we care about securing wealth for our oligarchs.

Our nation controls the world, yet discussing its actions results in a BS, ignorant, brainwashed pro-Russia slur. Apparently, there's not enough space in our brains to condemn Russia and evaluate the reasons for the violence. What a dangerous place for our country, and we won't learn anything because we never bother thinking.
