The One-Sided US Narrative Accurately Describes Everything
History is the tale of Takers and Leavers told by the Takers, and the storyteller glorifies their story.
Historians interpret information to develop a thesis about the past, but their arguments are not facts, and those who insist their assertions are infallible aren't credible. We learn an interpretation of the Takers' historical anecdotes and proclaim they are the truth, but everything is debatable, and we refuse to accept our ignorance.
Governments don't confess their sins, and we know one-sided stories. Nationalism invades every historical facet of our education, and the sugar-coated history remains because denial constrains our thoughts. Emotions override thinking, and critical thinkers endure censorship and punishment for presenting a narrative that hurts our feelings. God forbid!
We confuse fact with fiction, and our egos are too vulnerable to admit we know nothing. The media algorithm and government-approved curriculum deliver a tailored education but don't color outside the lines — conformity, not individuality, is preferred. We follow instructions but don't know how to think or learn, and discipline stops us from wondering.
