The nation is burnt out and rightly so. After the housing market collapse and the hell that followed, the US job market transitioned to a gig economy. The unstable work, lower pay, and lack of benefits have driven a lot of us into the ground. Maybe, people have created a more simple yet satisfying lifestyle within their communities. For example, I've noticed neighbors offering lifts to the airport for super cheap rates, and communities exchanging their homegrown veggies. It's possible, we're creating a world outside of corporate domination.
