The major reason I moved to Australia - better quality of life. Americans don't realize how bad they have it because they don't know anything else. What I pay in taxes each year is less for Universal Healthcare than what Americans pay for deductibles, copays, and prescriptions, and I can take time off of work without worrying about getting sick.

It's so cruel. Lives are commodified. What kind of freedom is that?
