More than half of the US is pro-choice, but a minority rules.
We haven’t had a federal government representing us for decades. Our knight in shining armor, Obama, bailed out the banks and let us drown. He turned down the proposal to subsidize mortgages so homeowners could keep their homes and repay the banks because he didn’t trust us with the money. You’d have thought we were the greedy fraudsters who destroyed the global financial system because we wanted a roof over our heads.
Mitch McConnell championed the once dead 2010 Citizens United that overturned restrictions on donations, and lobbyists sustain Lockheed Martin’s $44.9, Boeing’s $26.9, and Raytheon’s $23.8 billion annually in government revenue (public funding). We have to defend ourselves against the terrorists and enemies we created. Fortunately, Russia revived NATO’s shortcomings and guaranteed future growth. The mass murderers need their dividends.
At least one of our presidents could have reversed the fifty-year pro-business, profit before people policy, but we’re just the voters. Donors get politicians to the election and sustain their power, and we don’t have that kind of authority or money. Besides, the president can’t turn his back on the benefactors — he’ll end up with a bullet in his head in broad daylight because the…
