The Saddest Facebook Group: Part Two
This is part two of I Joined a Small Town’s ‘Freedom of Speech’ Community Facebook Group, part one provides the background to the loneliest, saddest, and most arrogantly stupid place on earth.
A white knight on his white horse rescued the town’s silenced misogynists, repressed racists, anti-science, and conspiracy believing residents when their comments on the community’s Facebook network were detested by fellow members. Establishing a private Facebook group to discuss the major political issues affecting the affluent white neighborhood, the local hero freed the thick-skinned bad boys from the draconian dictatorship and their voice could finally be heard.
Scrolling through the group’s history, an array of ‘patriotic’ American Bald Eagles holding machine guns, ‘All Lives Matter’, pro-Trump, QAnon, anti-Obama, Deep State, anti-masks/diaper face, and Covid hoax memes, as well as everything in between and out of this world is on display. Occasionally, the splatter of red, white, and blue is disrupted by the cry of a parent demanding the teachers go back to work, but the outburst is an obvious plea for a babysitter.
