The homelessness in California is heartbreaking, and there's no way it doesn't impact our mental state. Capitalism forces us to be apathetic.

Capitalism has benefits, but it will always lead to extreme inequality because the objective is profit and the easiest way is through low wages.

Markets can't deliver public services and they are often the most inefficient method to deliver goods, yet here we are. I wonder what the homelessness rate will be next year...
