The Crucible, Fahrenheit 451, Nineteen eighty-four, A Farewell to Arms, All Quiet on the Western Front, and the Grapes of Wrath were required reading in high school. I knew nothing about the world when I was a teenager, and although I don't remember specific details about the books, I'm reminded of them often.

History doesn't repeat itself, but humanity’s emotional reactions reiterate throughout history. Fascism is the future if a global, people's internationalist ideology doesn't materialize, and it's not looking great for Westerners. People still surprise me, but I won't hold my breath.

Keep writing and informing us of the buried information. Xo
