This piece took weeks to produce. Every link leads to another horrific Western cruelty. After the pharmaceutical murders, the US maintained agriculture subsidies and tariffs yet demanded India, Brazil, etc., to adopt free trade policies. The US imports Global South goods at no cost and makes a killing off exports.

Americans consider these backward countries incapable of governing and managing their resources. Yet, our excess consumption and government destroy them. It's infuriating.

We blame Brazil for the deforestation of the Amazon, ignoring our gluttonous behavior that strips the forests bare. It never dawns on us that our consumerism fads are responsible for the earth's destruction. We buy the bullshit materials responsible for the disappearing rainforests, intense pollution, and sweatshops.

We're a delusional nation.
