Thanks for sharing your intergenerational trauma. These stories aren't often shared. My mom left my dad for my soccer coach. She was severely neglected as a child and always a mess. My siblings and I still endure the trauma of the affair and the trauma she passed on. None of us had children and none of us got married. An affair is one thing, but the way parents justify it to their children is another.
