Thanks for clearly explaining the situation. I'm tired of hearing, "They've been fighting for centuries," and "Israeli is fighting to exist." Nazi Germany perpetrated the genocide of Jews, and Europe and the US denied them refuge, yet they're acting as if Arabs committed the atrocities, washing their hands of the blame.

I know Palestinians and Israelis, and my friends want peace. IDF suicide rates are excessive, and Israel's domestic issues are troubling. Disturbingly and sadly, Israel's government may be its demise, and it may take Palestine with it.

Establishing a nation on genocide leads to a violent, disoriented populace - the US is not the ideal model.
