Economic collapse occurred in 2008, and emergency kits have kept it breathing but supplies are finite. Climate change exacerbates our predicament, raising food prices by destroying crops and agricultural lands.

Parts fall off the US' pride and joy, Boeing mid-flight, the president of the global economy is incoherent, and the next election offers nothing better. Gravity is pulling us closer to the ground, and people still think we'll turn this sinking ship around. It's absurd.
