Stating all of the mainstream media is biased, would be 100% accurate, but omitting the entirety of the poor reporting on both sides of the spectrum leads to thinking the conservative owned media is doing a swell job. Rachel Maddow and MSNBC, CNN, & NBC are talk shows like Fox News Talk Show. I've found watching TV to receive news is the most vile and misleading. The 24 hour news cycle must end.

When billionaires own the media, it disables it from being independent. Have a look at the 'About' section of every news website to see who owns it and read the tricky small print saying, stories published on this site 'should' be true. Critical thinking and analyzing the information presented is essential, but it's seldom used.

It's left up to us to find independent journalists, but they are struggling as we live in an economic system requiring mass sales/clicks. It pisses me off there's right and left media, this shouldn't exist, but quality control on information is non-existent. Most people are trying to stay afloat in the fast-paced US lifestyle, and reading a variety of sources is time consuming.

I highly recommend reading articles from independent foreign journalists, outlets, and Reuters is listed as the least biased source of news in the US.
