Right? These essays never include citations, blatantly misinform, and consistently disregard the West's domestic and foreign policy abuses.

Western governments, led by the US, banned Huawei and are in the process of banning Tik Tok. Yet, they outsource to China and rely on Chinese manufacturing to fuel their consumption economies.

China lifted 800 million people out of poverty while Western governments impoverished the population, but let's talk about China. Well, not about the 4.7 STEM and 77.7 million Chinese graduates per year.

The people who "but China" tend to be the same demographic; middle-class, affluent white males. I presume they are retired homeowners who benefitted from the socialist policies that no longer exist because our governments exchanged them for business profits. They purchased homes and raised families on the one-income American dream, so the US is great.

They'll defend the US government and promote wars because a draft won't take them from their comfy lives, and younger generations need to learn hardship. This cohort doesn't interact with anyone outside their class, yet perceives young people, who have more global connections, as ignorant.

China had a one-child policy, yet Westerners aren't reproducing because we're too broke and broken, but let's ignore our governments!

It would be funny if it weren't so catastrophic.
