Perhaps the US government confuses its "From Sea to Shining Sea" call for genocide with "From the River to the Sea," but it undoubtedly ignores genocides.
The US government condemns people for using terms that it determines genocidal language, and Americans argue over genocide's definition while a genocide unfolds in real-time. What a fucked up country, and what does Israel have over our government?
The US forces the world to adhere to its rules yet allows Israel to break and redefine them. The US obeys Israel's commands and punishes Americans for disobeying Israel. It's bizarre.
The people who argue the percentage of a massacred population determines genocide display our dire education system and their ignorance. The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide defined the term as;
“Article II: In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

Hopefully, that clears up confusion, but I doubt it. I agree with you, Scott - Stefanik and the rest of our government are utterly disgusting.
