People want to live close to work, and in SF, space is limited, but in the simplest terms, how does people’s desire to live in Cole Valley over the Mission raise prices? The banks capitalize on the higher demand and set the price based on supply?

At the moment, the Fed funds foreign central banks, and the central banks funnel the money to private banks. Private banks invest in secure assets like big businesses, and globally, they're putting their money into housing. It’s crazy. Check out New Zealand’s housing prices. It’ll blow your socks off.
