People prefer to live in a fantasy land and feel nothing but numb and dumb.

While backpacking in my twenties, people from countless nations asked me why Americans are so dumb, referring to our ignorance of world history, geography, foreign countries, and general knowledge.

I blamed nationalism and propaganda and should have mentioned we believe in fairytale bullshit because we don't like bad vibes or to think about anyone but ourselves.

Covid exposes fantasy land and individualism's nonexistence, and people insist if they hear no Covid, see no Covid, and speak no Covid, it doesn't exist.
