Our foreign policy isn't democratic. Anti-war protests are our only "say," and they won't stop the Machine, but they provide the public with the platform to collaborate, unite, and discuss domestic needs.
We're intentionally divided and politically polarized. Too many of us fall for the BS and choose the government over the people, but we need each other to generate fundamental, systemic change. Instead, we're loyal to our government or a political party, but they don't represent us, and nothing changes.
I'm not sure our presidents have much of a say in foreign policies. Guantanamo is still operating, and wars continue through multiple administrations. It's crazy.
