Oh, whoops. I meant that in the past tense. Right. Mortgage brokers give the pre-approval, and pending the info, banks provide the funds? At least, that's how I remembered the process. I recently read it's still permitted to trade mortgage CDOs, but I really don't know how anyone knows what's going on in the financial arena.
