Oh, I know the claims from the anti-vax are ridiculous and frustrating, but they don’t trust mainstream media, and who knows what the media is spouting. There’s no quality control on the messaging, and politicians say whatever they want without any repercussions. Of course, there’s an individual responsibility, but the objective is to get more people vaccinated so we can at least end the public health nightmare.

Unfortunately or fortunately, I don’t know everything, but I’m pretty sure the further we alienate people, the worse it will be for everyone. The media continues to vilify anti-vaxxers when it could provide educational information on vaccinations and community outreach programs. If the last few years have taught me anything, it’s creating divisions perpetuates more hell for everyone.

We live in a society where people trust a newscaster more than their doctors, family, friends, and community. That’s disturbing.
