Oh, I didn't read through the comments but don't doubt you're the only one. The US is a plutocratic, oligarchy, but it's not just the US. Since globalization, it's as if the wealthiest families united.

I left the US and lived in Panama, but then moved to Australia. I hate the federal government so much I had to find a place where I could make enough money to never have to live there again and get citizenship elsewhere.

After 11 years of living in Australia, I've watched it become more and more like the US. When I first moved here there were more social benefits, less homelessness, etc. I believe the wealthy have imitated the US' wealthy or there's a global movement for the minority to control all natural resources, assets, and money. I sound like a conspiracy believing nut, but this is what's happening.

Sometimes, I think the wealthy know climate change is real so they're preparing to protect themselves while not doing anything to help stop it because they figure their families will survive and the wealth gained now, will help them later. I don't know. It's crazy, but nothing makes sense anymore.

Americans have become so divided and it's intentional, but they need to get their shit together and realize their government is the problem - both sides. Not sure if you still speak to any Americans in the US, but thing are really intense over there. They hate each other. This has escalated tenfold since 9/11. It's pretty sad and scary for them, but they gotta pull their finger out.
