Non-Americans always asked me why Americans are so dumb, and I didn't have an answer until I realized we're brainwashed. We don't know anything about the world or our country's role in destabilizing it, and a murderer doesn't confess its sins.

We're slowly figuring it out, but deprogramming takes time. Our domestic issues will collapse the nation if our over-extending, ruthless foreign policy doesn't do it first, but the US won't disappear without a bang, which terrifies me. xo
