No, I don't think the US has magical powers, but it is evil. However, the US, NATO, and Russia met countless times before the war, but the US stated it would not negotiate. Those aren't my words, and the specifics of the meeting are public.

I don't know if Russia's list of security concerns are the legit reason Putin invaded, but that's the only info we have because everything else is a baseless claim.

A Ukrainian newspaper reported Zelenskii and Putin reached a peace settlement, but Boris Johnson visited shortly after and the deal fell apart. I don't know if this is true, but the mainstream Ukrainian newspaper reported it.
