Michael, it's easier to bash Trump via the internet from the safety of our couches than it is to leave our homes to communicate and listen to our communities. Why bother developing opinions, beliefs, and ideas when the trustworthy, neutral media provides them for us? Plus, a terrified public is easy to manipulate.
Liberals had no sympathy for the working class, scolding them to get an education when their jobs were outsourced. After the 2008 lending scam, the smug class blamed the borrowers who lost their homes and wealth for trusting financial advisors who frauded the economy, and Obama rewarded the criminals.
Yet, liberals don't wonder why anyone would vote for Trump. They are too far up their asses to realize Trump was revenge for the lack of solidarity, humanity, and decency, and relentlessly talking about him gives him relevancy.
Unfortunately, the Democrats will run with the Trump card for decades because "Not Trump" is their only policy, and they don't want to engage in genuine politics.
