I forgot to add a paragraph in the essay about the John Deere strikers who received financial support from a credit union to help them continue to strike. Deere union employees aren't just striking for themselves - they're demanding new hires receive the same pension, pay, and other benefits existing staff recieve.
In California, Kaiser Permanente nurses were going to go on strike the 15 of November, but just reached a deal. More people quit their jobs in October, and I'm just like yes! Flex people!
